Well we’re now officially into Autumn - and while the sun is still shining, you can definitely feel the drop in temperature. The property market also experienced a slight fall in March (year-on-year), but Harcourts CEO Chris Kennedy offers some reassurance to what is now a stable market. “This time last year we were coming out of a particularly busy three or four years of intense growth. What we’re seeing now is stability, but still plenty of good activity that is returning excellent results for vendors.” To find out more click here to read the latest Auckland Market Watch update from Harcourts.
My team and I are also feeling the effects of a steady market. We’re busy securing some great new listings for the second quarter of the calendar year, and working with lots of buyers who are keen to find their next home.

While key markers for the Auckland market were down slightly last month (year-on-year), Harcourts CEO Chris Kennedy says the figures reflect a busier than usual summer period in the market, with sales activity normally expected for an average March spread out over the whole summer period instead.

The team and I had a fantastic time at our Easter Egg Hunt last month. The weather was good to us, despite a less than positive forecast(!) and we had a fabulous turnout from locals. It was great to be able to meet so many people... and give something back to the community.
We were touched by so many positive comments on our Facebook events page afterwards - and look forward to making next year's event even better!
